Resumo
This dissertation has as objective main to analyze the socioeconomics impacts of the electrification in agricultural communities of Manaus. Data concerning the main components
of the per capita income, as well as of the demand of electric energy, education, health, leisure will be used. The study it contemplates the universalization of the service of electric energy and its importance for the development. It is made a historical briefing of programs of agricultural electrification and other alternative power plants that can be used in the evolution
process of these agricultural communities. After that, a brought up to date survey of the State Coordination of the Program is presented Light For All in Amazon, its goals foreseen and
carried through, and contemplated population. E a vision of today in the agricultural space of Manaus. The financings to the familiar consumption and destined the public illumination are
analyzed. E concludes that the availability of electric energy is determinative in the economic development for being capable to promote improvements in well-being of the population. Its
allocation in the productive activity is understood to be essential, despite only for subsistence. Allowing new investments and that actions integrated with interest in the promotion of the development can become more efficient.
