O impacto da religião evangélica na vida dos moradores da comunidade Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro: impasses e perspectivas

Abstract

This dissertation presents an analysis of the performance of the Igreja Evangélica Assembly of God - IEADAM in the community Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro, located in the municipality of Careiro da Várzea, Amazonas, in order to know how the traditional people evaluate the practices carried out by the congregation in the community bosom. The objective is to understand how the evangelical religion produces the meanings of life of traditional peoples that the community of objective is Nossa Senhora do Objetivo Socorro. The methodology to the guidelines of qualitative approaches, without neglecting the aspects to be examined, based on the interdisciplinary perspective. The study assumes a rhizomatic inspiration, in a frank dialogue between Sociology, Anthropology and Philosophy, with emphasis on a phenomenological analysis. The results that the Evangelical Assembly of God influences only a part of the people living in community, producing their senses of behavior, governing in relation to friends, work and family. The greatest amount of people is your presence. Finally, the research points out that, in general, evangelical churches advance significantly, especially in traditional communities, influencing their ways of life, normalizing their consciences and removing their ancestral values, as is the case of popular beliefs.
