Uma leitura hermenêutica dos discursos sobre a Amazônia na Folha de São Paulo e O Estadão

Abstract

This research is an assay of hermeneutic reflection from article‟s reading of the newspapers Folha de São Paulo and O Estadão , where we identified the speeches that projected a vision of the Amazon region. The newspapers of our analysis are representative in the scope of the divergences between the speeches‟ production in the international‟s spheres, national and local that even accent the interpretation of the regionalization. The analysis was developed from the readings of Gadamer (2008, 2009) and Ricoeur (2008) as theoretician- methodology of of interpretation, translation and understanding. The election of articles was carried out by sampling, for the access to newspapers‟ site in the Internet and some printed units. We characterized types of ideas and/or representations on the Amazon region. The sociological look for the hermeneutic theories carried out a reading of critical understanding to recover questions and to excite new looks of analysis of crystallized ideas, in national and global level. The analysis elucidate that the predominant vision of the Amazon is a nature matter. The concept and/or representation of nature are represented in different expressions. From the types created there, we confer that Amazon is situated in an ample context and of tensions in which the interpretations on the region reveal views, representations and ideas about a place to be explored in several aspects.
