Resumo
This work deals with the Field of Education in the Amazon region focusing the reality of schools in the educational field located in the state of Amazonas. For understanding this process it is necessary look for workers and rural workers who serve as leaders in the union movement, with emphasis on the Federation of Workers in Agriculture (FETAGRI-AM) and the Union of Rural Workers (STR's). The Education and its relations with the rural areas is analyzed with a view and a vision of all critical, enabling an approach context of the process. This study was based on a literature search and field. The bibliographic survey pointed to a new approach to education of the field based on a design-political pedagogical not limited only to the geographical area, which by their pleas political, social and educational surpasses in terms of public policy known as rural education. The rural Amazon appears as background for the installation of public policy for education of the field, being analyzed from their particularities and local needs. The results of the field pointed to the need for public policies to education that resgatem the knowledge, culture and the education of the peoples Amazon as a way of exploiting cultural diversity and the processes of identity. The Field of Education was discussed on the basis of educational and socio experiences of men and women who live the reality local, their problems and their specific. The study shows the process of understanding of the trade union movement about the field of education and their participation in the construction of public policies geared to the local reality. The results achieved by the search portrayed the reality of education in rural area marked by profound contradictions and problems. And also that the current field of education in schools is still far from Amazonian enhance the knowledge and how to be and act of the people who live here, but already presents significant changes.
