Resumo

Within the scenario of constant changes, transformations in all dimensions of life and in the world, new ideas and conceptions are triggered by the emergence of new paradigms. Faced with this situation, the school performs an important role in the development of citizenship, and as a consequence in the professional life of our young people who seek to insert themselves in the world of work and society. However, reality in educational institutions is based on the old paradigm of traditional education, valuing reason and forgetting the multidimensions that the subject (student) is constituted, besides the context to which it belongs of a complex nature. From our teaching experience, currently in the IFAM-CMA, we perceive the disconnected form that the discipline of Physics is placed in relation to the professional and citizen formation by the students of the institution. Therefore, seeks to satisfy and / or contribute to the growth of students in their preparation for a 21st century life, developing skills and abilities through actions within the Project Methodology. For this purpose, the present research has as main objective, to develop a system of didactic methodological work that satisfies an integral formation of the students of Professional Education in the context of Physics Teaching. The work was structured in a proposal qualitative, descriptive and exploratory approach, taking as instruments of data collection, participant observation, questionnaires to the students and semi-structured interviews to the teachers. The target audience was a 3rd grade class of the Technical Course in Computer Science at the IFAM Campus Maués. The analysis and interpretation of the data was mediated by Content Analysis, bringing as satisfactory results of the stages of the work system, the development of General Competences of Representation and Communication, Interpretation and Understanding and Sociocultural Contextualization, as well as attributes essential to society, namely, solidarity, sustainable thinking, curiosity and motivation to the study of Physics, collaborating with an integral formation of the students.
