Apagamento da oclusiva dental /d/ no morfema {-ndo} formador de gerúndio na fala envirense

Resumo

The present study describes the process of deletion of the dental occlusive /d/ in the morpheme {-ndo} gerund forming, under the persperctive of Thun's Pluridimensional and Relational Dialectology, which contemplates the linguistic variation in different dimensions (diatopic, diazonal, diagenerational, diastratic, among others) and of the Sociolinguistic Patterns by Labov (1972). Data collection was made in São Francisco neighborhood and community of Marajá, through a questionnaire with 49 questions adapted from the already existing phonetic-phonological questionnaire (AZEVEDO, 2013)), in order to describe the linguistic reality of the municipality of Envira, located in the State of Amazonas, the main focus is in the identification of the process of deletion of the dental occlusive / d / in the morpheme {-ndo}, forming the gerund, resulting in the variants [-nu] and [-ndu]. Sixteen informants were selected, eight at each point of inquiry, distributed in both gender (woman and man); by age group (18 to 30 and 50 to 65 years old); and by schooling (Elementary School - illiterate or at most the 5th and Middle School - 6th to 9th grade). The data were analyzed quantitatively with the aid of the statistical program Goldvarb X and the results were recorded in 13 morphological letters.
