Avaliação da Atenção à saúde bucal no município de São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Amazonas, Brasil

Abstract

Aiming to assess the degree of implementation services oral health care in the municipality of São Gabriel da Cachoeira - AM we conducted a survey of evaluative implementation analysis addressing the determinants contextual dimensions with emphasis on structure and process. The strategy used was the single case study. A logical model and an evaluation matrix was developed as a reference for assessing the degree of implementation of the services to be evaluated. Information was collected from semi-structured interviews with key informants and documentary analysis. The study results showed a degree of implementation of oral health services rated as acceptable (50,25%). Regarding size structure obtained a degree unsatisfactory deployment in all units analyzed. With the exception of unit F which showed a poor level of implementation regarding the process dimension, the other units showed an acceptable degree of implementation. This study revealed deficiencies in the infrastructure of health facilities, need for improvement in the information system and planning as well as changes in sub dimensions access and promoting and protecting the health of DSEI / ARN.
