O uso da Realidade Virtual no ensino de Geografia: a docência diante as novas tecnologias da informação

Resumo

Information an communications technologies are part of society's daily life, and Geography educators are part of this digital dynamic. This research aimed to analyze the use of virtual reality interaction in the development of pedagogical practices focused on geography, its possibilities and challenges in the face of the Amazonian reality. To this end, a quantitative questionnaire was applied to Geography teachers for state and public schools in the state of Amazonas. An online questionnaire was applied via Google Forms where 27 teachers responded, and the data obtained were analyzed and correlated with each other. It was possible to identify that teachers are interested and believe in the relevance of appropriating and using virtual reality in the classroom in teaching Geography. The survey also shows, positively, the possibility and intention of using this resource by most teachers.
