A Gestão da Qualidade aplicada aos processos produtivos no Departamento de Pessoal da Universidade Federal do Amazonas: um estudo de caso voltado à eliminação de gargalos na área de convênios de planos de saúde

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present the results of a case study immanent in Quality Management with the proposed application of continuous improvement tools backed the PDCA. The problem that led to this dissertation studied back to the service sector, the Personnel Department of the Federal University of Amazonas, in order to improve quality and productivity in customer service this sector, through the elimination of bottlenecks in the flow current. With the use of tools of Total Quality and process modeling objective is to analyze possible flaws found in current flows, and propose new flow to decrease costs by reducing waste and rework, and minimize the time spent in the process and thus represent a framework of procedures for continuous improvement of the sector. The course is characterized by methodological research with an exploratory case study. The methodology was based on process modeling, and performed a literature review consists of tools of quality management as well as research the application of these tools in the public sector. It uses an approach divided into three phases, starting with the preparation of the environment and the survey and description of the current situation. The study shows that the results enabled the identification of critical processes and improving them, allowed the understanding of the desired situation to qualify the performance of the Federal University of Amazonas, thus enabling propose adjustments that can bring significant gains to the Institution
