Liga Acadêmica de Enfermagem em Saúde da Mulher e suas contribuições para a disseminação do conhecimento: um relato de experiência

Abstract

To report the experiences of academics at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) in a Women's Health Academic League. Experience report: This is an experience report, carried out through the participation of students, in the Women's Health Nursing Academic League (LAESM). The creation of the academic league provided the members and the population reached with valuable knowledge about women's health. The league's activities began in March 2022, where health education on HPV vaccination was carried out. The activities were carried out in five schools in a municipality in the state of Amazonas. In the month of October 2022, which is breast cancer awareness month, LAESM's actions were focused on health education regarding this topic. The callers carried out health education actions in the municipality's Basic Health Units and also in homes that the UBSs covered. Final considerations: Participation in an academic Women's Health league gave the students a learning and living experience of incalculable value. It is hoped that this report will encourage the creation and participation of academics in student leagues.
