Resumo
This research aimed to analyze the contribution of the LHE philosophy to the management of academic-administrative processes in a Federal Public Higher Education Institution. With this purpose, a bibliographic research was carried out to conduct a survey about the literature on the subject and related topics, in order to identify the theoretical reference on the application of LHE, focusing on Public Higher Education Institutions (IESP) in Brazil. Through an action research, the mapping of an academic-administrative process was implemented in DAE / PROEG, using the Map of Value Flow. In order to evaluate the process in question, a specific Working Group was set up for this purpose. Finally, an Action Plan was proposed for the scope of possible improvements. With the execution of this research it is expected to have contributed in the theoretical production and in cases of LHE application in the Brazilian context. Furthermore, it is hoped to have demonstrated the plausibility of the application of the LHE, in particular, in the management of academic-administrative processes that proceed within PROEG/UFAM.
