Resumo

The present research has as its theme “School Inclusion Policies in the Municipality of Tabatinga-AM: What the Municipal Secretary of Education tells us”. The question that generated this research consisted of knowing if the political-legal frameworks of Special Education in the Inclusive Perspective are being operationalized in the Municipality of Tabatinga-AM? And as a general objective, it aimed to analyze the political-legal frameworks and the implementation of the National Policy on Special Education from the Perspective of Inclusive Education (2008) in the municipality of Tabatinga-AM. And in order to respond to this objective, three specific objectives were outlined: 1) Present the political-legal frameworks of Special Education from the Perspective of Inclusive Education; 2) Characterize the quantity, age, sex, level of education and classification of the target public of Special Education in the Municipality of Tabatinga; 3) Knowing the implementation process of Special Education from the perspective of Inclusive Education in the municipality of Tabatinga-AM. The choice of this theme arose with the aim of analyzing the Special Education Policy from the Perspective of Inclusive Education in the municipality of Tabatinga, since it is necessary to comply with current legislation and consequently ensure the rights of students with special educational needs, to have their rights respected and guaranteed under equal conditions. As theoretical support we used: Bueno (1999, 2003, 2004, 2008); Cury (2002, 2003, 2006, 2008); Kassar (1998, 2011); Saviane (1997, 2010, 2013); Prieto (2006, 2010, 2013); Matos (2012, 2013); Mantoan (2003, 2004, 2006, 2008); Borges and Torres (2020), among others, who address the National Policy on Special Education from an Inclusive perspective. The methodological route was the Dialectical Method and Critical Historical Pedagogy, involving bibliographic research and documentary research, through a qualitative approach focused on Inclusive Educational Policies from the analysis of documents related to legislation at the international, national and municipal levels, and the authors' view. For data analysis, documents were obtained from the Municipal Department of Education and the Municipal Chamber of Education. With the study of the Organic Law of the Municipality of Tabatinga-AM (1990), Coordination Plan for Special and Inclusive Education (2022), Municipal Pedagogical Action Plan (2022), Municipal Education Plan (PME/TBT- 2014-2024) , Municipal Council of Education (2013), Internal Regulations of the Municipal Council of Education (2022), Pedagogical Political Project of Municipal Schools (2022). compliance with and service to the target public of Special Education, as municipal legislation with actions and strategies that guarantee the right of people with disabilities are necessary.
