Uso do Software Geogebra como ferramenta de abordagem de teoremas clássicos da Geometria Plana

Abstract

The present work aims to provide the mathematics teacher, of Junior High School and High School, mathematical support and didactic suggestions for an outstanding class. Therefore, some classic results of Euclidean Plane Geometry were chosen: Euler’s Line, The Nine-Point Circle, Menelaus’ Theorem, Ceva’s Theorem and Stewart’s Theorem. Beginning this theoretical essay with a historical clipping about the discoverers and their discoveries, the demonstrations of the theorems and finishing with a suggestion of didactic tool to the teacher, using GeoGebra software to instigate the student interest in Geometry and Mathematics in general.
