A interpolação de Lagrange: uma proposta ao Ensino Médio para a Modelagem Matemática de Polinômios

Abstract

This study aims to present the mathematical modeling as an important alternative in the recovery of a significant teaching mathematics in high school . We presented Lagrange Interpolation to complement strategy of a problem situation modeled with regard to trend analysis and forecasting of results of an experiment . Thus, we suggest a proposed class for high school students in which are carried out activities so that students know Interpolation of Lagrange , learn to use it and apply it from simple situations to interdisciplinary problems involving, for example , biology, physics and Geography . The main objectives of this class , the material and the time needed and the prerequisites for its success are also detailed in this work .
