A experiência tempo-espaço na cidade de Manaus: a mobilidade urbana

Abstract

This theses aims to study the consequences of urban mobility over the passengers or public transportation by bus in the city of Manaus. The structuring axes of sudy are the time spent traveling and the relationship to the space formed throughout the jouney. The empirical case is Line 330, Lago Azul – Centro. By observing its users, it was possible to perceive the time acting over the bodies and the creation of alienating experiences, in which the subjectivity is shaped from an intense process of coercion and exploitation. Producing, thus, thereby a distinction in the way social groups perceive and live the city. Also creating a denial of the urban process as a category of social development.
