Protótipo de aplicativo móvel para cuidados à pessoa idosa com hipertensão arterial no domicílio

Abstract

Objective: To develop a prototype mobile application for home care of elderly people with hypertension. Methods: This is a methodological study, divided into two stages: technological prospecting and prototype development, using the Contextualized Instructional Design method. Results: The developed prototype resulted in 26 screens with their respective visual interfaces, consisting of tools for medication alarm systems, blood pressure recording, access to health information, medication management, a space for promoting healthy habits, and accessibility features for elderly people. Conclusion: The mobile application prototype represents a promising strategy to improve the therapeutic process of elderly people with hypertension, but further research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness and usability and accessibility criteria of the application.
